Stuck to the objective today. A little frustrated and a bit of a let down last night has gotten the crew eager to locate, stay on top, and maybe even entice a few to bite the sardines. Perseverance paid off. Just after lunch we ran in to the "mega meat" this time around they let their guards down. When the dust settled we walked away with almost the daily limit for the afternoon. Bite Bluefin tuna during the day usually means even better biting Bluefin ay night, well sometimes. Took a couple hours of driving around to get on the right biting school, during that time you can see the anxiety and worry in everyone's face. Right around 22:00 the throttles pulled back and the bright LEDs flashed on, 4 hours later we walked away batted and bruised but have a quota of Bluefin to show for. What an epic 12 hours! Today we were Bluefin CATCHING and not fishing! We'll be somewhere along the beach to finish off the trip tomorrow.

No stranger to being on the cover photo, our good friend Jin "Silent Assassin" Liang gets today's photo honors. Jin posing with a stock grade 50lb Bluefin captured during our afternoon biting session.

I added various photos from the afternoon daylight bit and also quick snippets from tonight's epic night time jigging session. Enjoy!
